I see you have my race car on your website. I am happy to share the pictures of it with your club but I ask that you also post my website www.914-6.org so others can see more pictures of my car.

My wife is from Stuttgart so when we decided to build the 914-6 race car, I decided to paint it like a POLIZEI car. You can see I even have a German Police light on the top. I was a fireman here for 10 years and bought the German light many years ago.

We are now looking for more items to make it look more like a German Polizei car - any ideas?

We continue to make progress on the race car project. Our target is mid April for our first track day and a full season of racing throughout the Midwest. This weekend we did the template for the two dash-boards. In front of me will be the 0-8,000RPM large tachometer, engine oil pressure, engine oil temperature, oil pressure light, and shift light. To my right (middle of dash) will be external oil filter temperature (from the engine), transmission oil temperature, and battery voltage. In addition this dash will have all the electrical switches and fuses. All the gauges are from AutoMeter and were custom built to my specifications (electric movements, black faces with white lettering and orange pointers).

We just returned from a visit to Stuttgart, vacation only. Perhaps next time I come over so we can meet.
